Free Affiliate Programs
By: PETER EMERSON
One can set up his own free affiliate program or tools to help affiliates. The process and the very advantage of these affiliate programs are very simple. With the opening of the window of your website, these affiliate programs will come to the screen in the form of a small window or pop-up. If the visitor of your website chooses to go to a particular program by clicking on it or fulfilling other criterions, such as giving some information of him or herself, giving the email address, or filling out of certain online forms, the website with which the program was affiliated gets money. Usually the calculation is done on the basis of the number of visitors of these affiliated programs
Some of the free affiliate program resources whose names are worth mentioning are FreebieList.com which is a CPA, or Cost Per Action affiliate program. A CPA provides banners, text descriptions, buttons and much more to help you and your website to generate money on an online basis. However, if you want to avail such opportunities to make some handsome amount of money just on the basis of such affiliate programs, you have to carefully design the logo or the banner of the free program that you want to get affiliated with. The place where you put these banners also becomes an important factor.
Last but not the least comes the question of the software that you are using to design the logo, the banner or the text. These are thee three important factors whose manipulation and arrangement becomes a key factor in attracting the attention of the visitor. The more they are attractive in terms of texts, banners, color and design, the greater are the chances that the visitor would visit them.
According to a recent survey, PlatinumPartner.com has been one of the best free affiliate programs which has proven to be the highest converting and highest paying free affiliate programs of the net. 6 Tips To Maximize Your Affiliate Commissions
By: MILA SIDMAN
Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online but so many people are not maximizing their affiliate efforts to their full potential.
Here are a few affiliate marketing tips to keep in mind:
1) Give, Give, Give. People surf the net for one thing, information. So give it to them. Give them valuable information that will blow them away, make you an expert and gain your visitor's trust. Your visitors are more likely to buy from you if they trust you.
2) Be Nice. People buy things from people they like plain and simple. If you're nice to people and think about their needs first they will give back to you in return.
3) Make Affiliate Links Part of Your Content. A very important tip. A lot of people simply throw up banners or links and expect lots of affiliate sales to come in. Again, people buy from people they trust and like. Give valuable information and include relevant links within the content just at the right place and you'll see results.
4) Follow Up. Don't let your visitors leave your sites without a method of contacting them. Most people will not buy the first time they see an offer. Make sure you collect email address for your mailing list. Send out even more valuable information to your subscribers and make relevant offers along the way.
5) Offer Bonuses. This works for any field you're in. If you offer incentives for people to buy through your link the more affiliate sales you'll make. It can be anything from a free complimentary report to a special discount on the product.
6) Change Your Approach. Don't rely on just one website with a few links to make sales. Use all four of affiliate models to really maximize your sales and boost your commission.

make MONEY by Adsense is TRUE...!!!!

Adsense and Longtail Traffic
by : Internet Marketer (some where)
Those who know me know that I’ve been building adsense scraper sites by the thousands and it worked pretty well back then. Site got indexed quick in google and traffic was good. I used to put ads above the fold and hide, or lower the text to get maximum ctr and adsense was bringing on average over $100 per 1000 visitors.
But these times have long gone. First google started banning new domains much faster, without giving them enough traffic and then Adsense closed few of my main accounts and on the recent one (about half a year ago) I wasn’t even paid the earnings for last month. They explained it simply by saying they didn’t like my business model, that is building sites for the sole purpose of sering ads. Oh well..
So I had to rebuild my whole adsense system into making good looking sites which will be within the tos, which caused the cpm to go down all the way down to just around $10-20 making the whole idea rather unprofitable.
I’ve tried many things with adsense since then, but in the end I gave it up. Building crappy adsense sites doesn’t pay anymore and if you’re still doing it you’re probably earning pennies. It sure was a good ride, but anything good comes to an end.
Targeted longtail traffic still pays off good in many niches, like ringtones, loans, gambling, dating etc if monetized with affiliate programs. While still being longtail it’s a different approach from what we did with adsense - trying to find the best keywords, with low competition, good traffic and decent clicks.
You can still make some $$ with adsense, but it can’t be scaled any more and not worth the effort.
So to all those doing adsense - are you making good money? No, then leave it! Same time and effort can be better applied in other areas
NOTE :
For your own good, if you need to keep your adsense box surfive..do not make the FRAUD CLICKS. ( Read the Adsense TOS carefuly or you will be BANNED )

By: DOUG CHAMBERS
Copyright 2006 by Jason James
http://www.AuctionResourceNetwork.com
Affiliate marketing has become one of the most effective ways to advertise online. It is also one of the easiest ways for anyone with a website to make a profit online. Affiliate Marketing is an agreement between a merchant and a website owner. The website owner, or the affiliate, allows the use of their site for the promotion of the merchant's products by linking to the merchant's website. In exchange, the merchant pays a commission to the affiliate on all sales generated by the affiliate. Every time someone clicks on the link on the affiliate website and proceeds to make a purchase, the affiliate gets a commission. The merchant will pay the affiliate only when a customer clicks on the product link and makes a purchase.
Affiliate marketing programs are described as a win-win situation for both the merchant and the affiliate because of the pay-for-performance scheme. Both the merchant and the affiliate enjoy some benefits in affiliate marketing. There are many benefits on the merchant's side. It gives the merchant a wider market in which to advertise a product or service. Affiliate marketing will give the product or service the maximum exposure that it may not get with other traditional advertising techniques. The more affiliate sites a merchant has, the higher the traffic, which can convert to sales. Affiliate marketing is the equivalent of having an army of sales people who will do the advertising and will only get a commission if a customer purchases.
Meanwhile, since an affiliate marketing relationship is a win-win situation, the affiliate also enjoys many benefits. Foremost among these is the easy way to make a profit. As soon as the customer clicks on the ad on the affiliate's site, is redirected to the merchant's website and goes on to buy that particular product, the affiliate earns a commission. The more referrals there are the more profit for the affiliate.
Affiliate marketing is an excellent way to earn money while at home. There are virtually no production costs. The product is already developed and proven by the merchant, and all you have to do to find, as many prospects as you can that will bring in the profit for both the merchant and the affiliate. The 5 Top Reasons why Affiliates join an Affiliate Network
By: ERIC EDELSTEIN
An affiliate network is a meeting ground for advertisers and affiliates to meet. There are possibly 100's of good reasons why both advertisers and affiliates can benefit from signing up to a network, but in this article we will focus solely on the 5 top reasons why affiliates benefit from being part of an affiliate network.
1. Campaign Selection: An affiliate network gives affiliates access to 100's of niche merchant's products and services. The network uses it's time and resources to find the clever publishers who have figured out new ways to drive converting traffic. It also provides a greater variety of top performing, reputable campaigns. In this way, affiliates will easily get exposed to upmarket products such as banner rotations. With a single affiliate network, affiliates can easily work with multiple advertisers, multiple offers and multiple payment style options such as pay per click, pay per lead, pay per impression, etc. all under one umbrella, the affiliate network.
2. One Single Relationship: The relationship between the advertiser and the affiliate is of utmost importance. These relationships are necessary for structuring increased commissions (if the affiliates volume increases), in advertisers delivering affiliate-specific content, and in the advertiser and affiliate working together to assist the affiliate in maximizing the traffic to his site. The affiliate only deals with one advertiser, namely the affiliate network, rather than each of the merchants individually. This frees up a lot of space on the affiliates calendar since the affiliate does not have to use any time building relationships with anyone except their affiliate network manager. Affiliate marketing is about relationships, and that is then all taken care of by the affiliate network. The affiliate network will provide top quality support and a great training area for the affiliate to build up their skills, learn and grow.
3. Real Time Tracking: Testing and comparing each and every change and idea is fundamental for taking an affiliate's business from strength to strength. The most important tool for testing is real time tracking. This allows the affiliate to know immediately how their new idea is translating and helps to guide the affiliate as to whether it is an idea worth pursuing. The software to track impressions, clicks, leads and sales for each campaign can be both pricey and require a lot of upkeep. The network will provide this service for free to their affiliates. The network will also provide affiliate with advanced reporting tools for checking their stats, graphs for analyzing trends, and even cookie testing capabilities for monitoring fraud.
4. Risk of Payment: Every advertiser has an element of risk as to whether you will actually receive the payments from them. As many companies can be virtual or on the opposite side of the world from where the affiliate is based, it is often very difficult to avoid doing business with dishonest advertisers. This means that no matter how much revenue the affiliate generates, some advertisers will never pay the affiliates. Joining an affiliate network gives the affiliate much stronger protection. The network will have built strong relationships with a number of the advertisers it works with and thus there is minimal chance the affiliate will not get paid.
5. Monthly, Correct Payments: Affiliate networks ensure all payments are checked and paid monthly (or as alternatively agreed). This means that the affiliate does not have to waste valuable time checking and reconciling the advertisers' figures.
The role of an affiliate is to maximize the traffic to their site and provide rich and useful content to their site. This keeps an ever growing visitor base arriving at their site, and ensures the visitors look around the site before exiting the site. An affiliate network encourages the affiliates to concentrate on these vital functions by assisting the affiliate in maximizing the spend of each visitor the affiliate attracts.
